I’m Erin Bruner, Clinical Director, Qualified Supervisor of pre-licensed professionals, and Therapist at The Therapy Room.I have over a decade of experience working with children, teens, and adults in the mental health field. I earned my MSW from Florida State University in 2016, and in 2021 became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.I began my career at Capital City Youth Services in Tallahassee, Florida, working with homeless, runaway, and foster youth in the crisis shelter. In 2015, I helped open and run the Transitional Living Program. After earning my Masters's Degree in Social Work, I began my counseling career at multiple community agencies in Panama City, Florida, serving children, teens, and families in the foster care system, low-income families, and families experiencing a crisis. During that time, I completed certifications in Adoptions Competency, Trauma-Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and WrapAround.I have worked with children and families in individual and group settings, their homes, the community, and schools. I enjoy working with children and teens experiencing anxiety and depression and the family unit to improve connection and communication.In my current role, I enjoy working with adult clients as they process past traumas and break toxic generational family cycles.
