Masters level intern
Hi! My name is Sherry Peacock. I am a master’s level counseling intern. I graduated
from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I am currently
completing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty
University.
I have experience working as an educator and in behavioral health as a Registered
Behavioral Therapist, working closely with parents and children to support their growth
and development. I am also a certified SYMBIS Facilitator for premarital and married
couples, helping them through relationship building.
I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, veterans,
and seniors, guiding them through life challenges with compassion and care.
My areas of focus are anxiety and depression, grief and loss, PTSD, trauma, geriatric
counseling, life transitions, child and parent relationships, relationship building,
enhancing self-esteem and personal growth, and social-emotional development. With
an empathetic, non-judgmental approach, I am committed to creating a safe space
where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to embrace healing and personal
growth.
When I’m not in session, I love spending time in nature with my family, reading, Pilates,
and traveling.
