Emma Kyle

Registered Social Work Intern

Hello! My name is Emma Kyle and I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. Since completing my BSW in 2023, I have had the opportunity to work with many families and children in need. While completing my Master’s Degree in Social Work, I served as the Title 1 Social Worker for the Bay District Schools’ Homeless Department. During my time in this position, I worked with Unaccompanied Youth and families facing homelessness. This allowed me to collaborate with clients as they navigated complex crises and progressed towards financial and emotional stability. I then became certified as a Registered Behavior Technician for a local Autism Behavior Analysis company. In this position, I met with clients and their loved ones in their home to implement practical behavior modifiers and improve functionality. At the end of my MSW program,I worked with Doorways of Northwest Florida. This experience strengthened my knowledge of economic concerns impacting families and the effects of generational traumas as I assisted clients with obtaining housing assistance.

I am passionate about helping clients overcome complex stressors and see long-lasting changes in their wellbeing. We are not meant to face life alone. My hope is that each client leaves their session feeling supported, heard and encouraged. Every client deserves a throughout and individualized plan to help progress towards their goals. By utilizing research based approaches, my goal is to uncover underlying issues and equip the client as they continue their journey.
